In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Frank Fang

Student

Frank Fang is a student full of curiosity and striving for the next level. He dives into his favorite subjects and tackles problems that arise. He currently studies the IB Diploma program at the International School of Dongguan. With such curiosity, Frank not only follows his passions but also plans and encourages others to work together and make a positive change in the world. From a young age, he was captivated by science, philosophy, and technology, teaching himself about these fields with insatiable curiosity. When he first discovered the Nobel Prize in grade 1, he pointed to the picture in a book and told his mother, "I will win seven of these prizes." His mother laughed, but Frank was serious; he saw the prize as recognition for those who profoundly impact society, and he believed that changing the world according to his dream would naturally lead to such honors.
