Theme: Dimes of Dynamism

A decade of TEDxVITPune. A decade of 'ideas change everything'. So many ideas have brought us here, and so many more will shape what comes next. This year, we celebrate them all with the 10th edition of TEDxVITPune.

Reaching this milestone reminds us of how dynamic our lives are and how the true power of this dynamism lies in the choices we make. A decision between 'this' or 'that,' or the 'yes' or 'no.' No matter how small you think it is will change your next course of action.

For all the decisions that shaped who we are and those shaping who we will become, the 'fragments' we saw of ourselves and the 'spaces' we saw in between them, now it's time to step into the 'dynamism' of what lies ahead.

Avani Gadre

Kathak Dancer & Educator

Avani Gadre is a vibrant Kathak dancer and aspiring choreographer, recognized for her profound exploration of movement and abstraction within the classical form. A dedicated disciple of Guru Smt. Shama Bhate, Avani holds a Master's degree in Kathak from Lalit Kala Kendra, Savitribai Phule Pune University, where she graduated with a gold medal. She began her Kathak journey at age four and is now a key member and dance teacher at Nadroop, one of Pune's most esteemed Kathak institutes. She was awarded the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and the Rohini Bhate Award for Young Artists.

Gayatri Narasimhan

Founder Director of Prakramika Vocational Institute

Dr. Gayatri Narasimhan is a globally recognized advocate for inclusive education and skill development. As the Founder-Director of Prakramika Vocational Institute (PVI), she has empowered thousands of neurodivergent individuals across India, Oman, UAE, and the USA by offering over 30 skill-based courses and multi-year training programs, completely free of cost. A Top 50 Finalist for the Global Teacher Prize and speaker at the United Nations Summit, Dr. Gayatri has authored several pioneering books, including INVAS, and Unifying Pathways – One School, Many Abilities, which has been recognized by the UN and lauded by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. Her work integrates special and mainstream education, building sustainable inclusion frameworks for schools, families, and workplaces.

Naina Ahluwalia is an entrepreneur and digital content creator with a passion for beauty, skincare, and storytelling. With 9 years of experience she has built an engaging community by sharing authentic experiences and insights. She has been a panelist, received international recognition, collaborated with global brands, and earned industry awards. Her work has been featured on hoardings, magazines, newspapers, reflecting a journey driven by creativity, hard work, expertise, and influence. From exploring new trends to embracing personal growth, her journey is all about creativity, connection, and continuous evolution

Prajakta Wadhavkar

Founder, Director

Mrs. Prajakta Wadhavkar is the Founder Director of Tapas Foundation for Care of Seniors and Tapas Elder Care. Though from a commerce background, her passion for elder care led her to establish Tapas in 2017 as a residential care facility, which has since grown into a network offering dementia care, palliative care, nursing, respite services, and intergenerational programs. She believes that caring for the older generation is a vital social responsibility for a healthy ecosystem. Prajakta has been a guest speaker at GERICON and GSICON, a guest lecturer at IDC IIT Mumbai, and a mentor to PhD scholars in service design. Her efforts have earned her the India Achievers Award for Entrepreneur of the Year, Times Inspiring Women Award, and honors from Rotary, NIPRO, Aastha Foundation, and Gnyan Prabodhini for excellence in elder care.

Sujay Dahake

Film Director

Sujay Dahake is a National Award-winning filmmaker and founder of Pune Film Company, known for redefining Marathi cinema through bold and diverse storytelling. A graduate in Film Semiotics from Mumbai University and Filmmaking from IAFT Cebu, he made his directorial debut with Shala (2012), winning the Silver Lotus at the 59th National Film Awards. His filmography spans genres—from the eco-drama Ajoba and sci-fi Phuntroo to the historic tale Shyamchi Aai 2023. Sujay continues to push cinematic boundaries with a sharp eye and fearless creativity.
