The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

In her previous roles, she has led initiatives at Caribbean Women in Leadership Trinidad and Tobago and BLK Consulting, where she focused on empowering young women in policymaking. Bernice has been recognized with the 30 Under 30 Caribbean Changemaker award and the Martin Luther King Jr. Black Excellence Award for her contributions to intersectional sustainability. Her global efforts also encompass composting solutions in India and climate education programs in Ghana.

He had very steady hands, which he proudly presented as "Gifts from God." After such a realization, he wanted to help others with this bestowed gift, and so he strove to be an eye doctor. Later, Dr. Lee partners with Orbis, collaborating to make eye surgery and tools accessible throughout various parts of China. It was during such an eye-opening endeavour that Dr. Lee found himself taking responsibility to heart in providing eye surgery to those who are in dire need but are unable to receive proper treatments. With over 30 years of experience, he also shares his cultivated knowledge and techniques, passing it down to Specialists alike, striving to heal eyes and remove darkness.
