In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aditya Arya

Photographer
Aditya Arya is a celebrated commercial and travel photographer with over four decades of experience. A graduate of St. Stephen’s College, he began his career in the Mumbai film industry before moving to Delhi, where he built a diverse portfolio in advertising, product, and travel photography. He is the founder of Museo Camera , which traces the history of photography and has a collection of more than 5000 cameras and photographic ephimera from early 19th century ,it is Asia’s largest not-for-profit photography museum, and he founded the India Photo Archive Foundation, a trust for the preservation and creation for historic photographic archives. Deeply committed to photographic conservation, he mentors artists in historic analog processes and curates national and international exhibitions. Aditya also enjoys farming, growing pesticide-free vegetables and medicinal plants on his farm in the outskirts of Delhi.

Aminath Zuna

Swim Instructor + Entrepreneur
Aminath Zuna is the founder of Salted Ventures Swimmers (SVS), a swim school in Malé, Maldives, offering lessons for all ages and SSI-certified swim and snorkel instructor courses. A former competitive swimmer, her passion for the ocean began in childhood and evolved into a career in swim education. Since 2022, she has co-led the Ocean Women Project, training instructors across islands to foster community-based ocean literacy. With over 1,000 students taught and 30+ instructors trained, Zuna is dedicated to building ocean-minded communities and creating a ripple effect of sustainable, inclusive engagement with the sea for future generations.

Ashutosh Joshi

Writer + Photographer + Activist
Ashutosh is a writer, photographer, and grassroots visionary rooted in Narvan, a coastal village on Maharashtra’s western edge. After honing his craft in England, Ashutosh returned to India to understand his country. He set out on foot—first walking 1,800 kilometers from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal, and later 900 kilometers from Mumbai to Goa—seeking to understand the soul of his country beyond headlines and hashtags. Today, he lives and works in his village, collaborating with local communities to imagine and implement sustainable models of rural development. His work challenges the myth that opportunity only lives in cities. Ashutosh’s vision is clear: to reverse the tide of urban migration by creating dignified livelihoods in the very villages people are leaving behind.

Jaiveer Bansal

Student + Debator
Jaiveer Bansal is a dynamic young thinker, speaker, and Grade 6 student at Shiv Nadar School, where he served as Junior School President (2024–25). A multi-award-winning debater, he has represented India at international forums and won Best Speaker at Australasia Edu Drift three years in a row. Beyond debate, Jaiveer is a budding entrepreneur, artist, and performer, with paintings showcased in exhibitions and appearances on Doordarshan. He also plays squash and drums with passion. Known for his curiosity, kindness, and collaborative spirit, Jaiveer draws inspiration from the world around him—constantly learning, creating, and shaping a future full of possibilities.

Kashika Dhingra

Student + Editor
Kashika is a 17-year-old student at Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon, with a deep passion for the arts—whether through performance in dance and theatre or creation in writing and visual media. In 2024, she founded Junoon Magazine, a youth-led e-publication that offers a platform for young creatives to explore themes such as art, philosophy, science, fiction, and poetry. She currently serves as the President of Ayka India Trust, a non-profit organization focused on education and empowerment for underprivileged communities. A firm believer in the power of storytelling to inspire change, Kashika is also an avid reader, with Slaughterhouse-Five and Circe among her favorites.

Kriti Gupta

Intuitive Movement Facilitator
Kriti Gupta is an intuitive movement facilitator and founder of Dancing-With-Life, a venture rooted in embodied life wisdom. With a background spanning dance, interior design, mountaineering, and professional parkour, she co-founded Vanarshala, a parkour space in Gurgaon. Kriti brings the same fluidity and agility from her movement practice into life, embracing transitions with curiosity and grace. Her work explores how dance and movement can alchemize lived experiences into embodied wisdom, and how everything is interconnected in life’s greater design. Through her journey, she inspires others to move freely—in body, mind, and spirit—while trusting life’s deeper unfolding.

Utsavi Jhaveri

Artist
Utsavi Jhaveri is a South Asian artist working to reimagine the Indian tattooing industry by centering women’s needs, experiences, and visibility. Through her documentation of street tattooing in India, she also examines how caste, class, and spatial dynamics continue to shape and expand the idea of what a tattoo studio can be.
