Though still in high school, Aarav’s curiosity led him to independently explore nudge theory—its origins, real-world applications, and presence in his own life.

Abhishek Gupta is the Cheif Financial Officer of Myntra, a reputed Indian Fashion e-commerce platforms. Leading a life filled with person struggles, Beyond his impressive corporate portfolio, his personal journey is a testament to resilience and quiet strength. Losing his father at a young age, Abhishek faced the weight of responsibility early on. Years later, life tested him again when his wife suffered a rare and severe brain stroke. With unwavering commitment, both of them found their way to recovery — an experience that not only brought them closer, but also inspired his wife to go on and lead an organization dedicated to brain stroke awareness and support.

Apoorva is curious about many things: tennis, stargazing, drumming, and especially astrophysics. She believes learning should be hands-on and shared, particularly in government schools across India. As School Captain at TISB, she hopes to lead by example, within her school and in the wider community. Through her project Hatke History, she’s been rediscovering the overlooked stories of her hometown and encouraging others to do the same.

Kaina Jain
Kaina Jain is an 11th-grade student at The International School Bangalore with a deep-rooted passion for music and a strong belief in its transformative power. Entirely self-taught on the piano and driven by curiosity rather than formal training, she has spent years exploring the emotional and narrative depth that music can hold. From researching how subtle shifts in melody and harmony can alter a story’s meaning, to understanding the psychology of sound, Kaina brings both heart and insight to her exploration of music as a storytelling tool.

Veena G R
Miss Veena G R is the Head of the Mathematics Department at The International School Bangalore and first began her teaching career in the Karnataka hill station. While pursuing her Master’s, she moved to Bangalore, where she continued teaching first in a college, while simultaneously pursuing a M.Phil, PGDHE and PGDDE, while writing books, articles, and attending various conferences and presenting papers. Having over 30 years of teaching experience, she realised that “I realised intelligence lies not in imitation but in making further connections and extrapolations”. In this talk, she reflects on how in newly introfuced courses in Bangalore University had subjects that required multiple textbooks, and in the end after realising the necessity, she was the one who published a textbook on this matter.
Veruschka Pandey
Veruschka Pandey is a public health advocate, bestselling poet, and founder of MedCon, India’s first student-led medical conference and competition. In 2023, she became the youngest speaker to have a documentary—The Heart is a Vessel—made on her and presented at the United Nations Youth Summit. A competitive debater and MUN awardee, Veruschka is known for merging scientific temperament with policy insight, empathy, and social impact. She leads Suryanayak, a national CPR initiative that has trained over 100,000 ASHA workers across India. Through storytelling and reform, she continues to bridge the worlds of medicine, advocacy, and human connection.
