Theme: Rethinking Systems: Justice, Learning, and Belonging

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anita Kawohlus is a Year 11 student at LANNA, where she has spent the past two years developing her passion for volunteerism and community work. Outside the classroom, Anita is a talented competitive singer and avid horse rider, combining creativity, discipline, and compassion in everything she does.

Archie Taylor

Archie Taylor is a dedicated Year 11 student who has been part of the Lanna International School community for nearly eight years. Passionate and engaged, he has a strong interest in law and justice. Having overcome a childhood speech impediment, Archie now uses his voice to advocate for fairness and inspire others.

Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee is a Year 11 student who has been at Lanna International School since Year 2. Despite her fear of public speaking, she rose to the challenge with determination and grace as a TEDxYOUTH speaker. Michelle is a talented, engaged student who actively contributes to many school activities and community events.

Nora Zou

Nora Zou, a Year 11 student at LANNA since Year 6, serves as Vice President of LIPSO, the student-led public speaking organisation. Passionate about communication and leadership, Nora brings energy and creativity to everything she does. Fun fact: as a child, she dreamed of becoming a Broadway star!
