In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr. Prateek Makwana

Dr Prateek Makwana is a Consultant Embryologist and sexual health expert. He is Director at Vasundhara Hospital Ltd, Jodhpur; Director, Vasundhara IVF (Jaipur, Bikaner, Lucknow). He completed his undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) from DY Patil Medical College, followed by a postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Embryology under the aegis of India Fertility Society (IFS): Gold Medal. He is currently working as part of a Special Interest Group, IFS, on Applied Genetics Young Ambassador for the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE), 2022. He also talks about infertility, sexual education, health, and reproductive rights and well-being. His endeavour is to make people more aware and proactive about their sexual well-being and reproductive health, while also busting the myths created by society around sex, pregnancy, infertility, mental health, and more.

His academic career began in Bhopal, and he was the founding director of the Shivpuri Institute of Technology. As VC, he focuses on modernizing the curriculum, fostering research and innovation, and enhancing administrative efficiency and student support.

Mr. Rajesh Dandotiya is a distinguished officer currently serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in the Crime Branch of Indore Police. Throughout his illustrious career, he has held several key positions across various regions in India, including: 1) City Superintendent of Police (CSP) in Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur. 2) Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in the Crime Branch of Indore and Gwalior. 3) Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in the CID Jabalpur. 4) Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in Rewa. In his role as Additional DCP of the Crime Branch, Mr. Dandotiya has been instrumental in combating organized crime, cyber threats, and economic offenses. His leadership has significantly contributed to enhancing public safety and security in Indore. Notably, he initiated the "Digital Suraksha" campaign, aiming to educate citizens about online safety and cyber threats. This initiative led to over 300 awareness sessions, effectively preventing numerous cyber frauds and scams. Mr. Dandotiya's exceptional service has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the 'Digidisk Award' and the Ashoka Award in Delhi (Central). He has also been honored with an honorary doctorate from Maryland University, USA, for his significant contributions to public service and law enforcement.
