In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Antariksh Gupta

Student
Antariksh Gupta has a deep fascination with the cosmos and a lifelong curiosity about how our universe came to be. He’s especially drawn to new theories about the formation of the stars and space. When he’s not exploring the mysteries of the universe, Antariksh enjoys listening to Coldplay, honing his flying skills on a simulator, and playing both the bass clarinet and double bass.

Aradhya Dharani

Aradhya is a passionate advocate for youth and an emerging voice in politics. Committed to making a difference in her community, she volunteers at a local toy library supporting children and families. A keen writer, Aradhya was awarded the Wyndham City Short Story Prize in her age group. When she’s not reading, riding her bike, or exploring the city with friends, she’s thinking about how young people can shape a better future.

Ayan Singh is a passionate programmer with a strong interest in how technology shapes the way we think and learn. He regularly uses AI tools to assist with coding and schoolwork, which inspired his curiosity about their deeper impact.

Dr Christine Lambrianidis

Teacher
Dr Christine Lambrianidis is an educational leader, teacher and researcher. She has taught English and Literature for almost twenty years in the western suburbs of Victoria. She has been an Associate Teacher at Monash University and educational consultant for the Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools (MACS), Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), Victorian Association of Teachers of English (VATE), National Gallery of Vitoria (NGV) and Malthouse Theatre. She was also a playwright and researcher, completing her PhD in Theatre and Performance where she investigated the role intertextuality plays in hybrid feminist playwriting. Christine was part of the inaugural Teaching Excellence Program (2022) as well as a Teaching Innovation Fellow (2023) at the Victorian Academy of Teachers and Leadership. Currently, she is the Director of Teaching and Learning (P-12) at Westbourne Grammar School.

Eric Ji

Eric Ji is a passionate problem-solver with a strong interest in technology and language learning. He is currently developing a multiplayer first-person shooter game, combining his skills in programming and game design. Beyond his technical pursuits, Eric is enthusiastic about languages—particularly Japanese—and enjoys exploring different cultures through his studies. Since 2025, he has been actively engaged in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Challenge, working toward positive global change. Outside the classroom, Eric enjoys playing volleyball and badminton with friends.

Japneet Talwar is an avid coder with a passion for Artificial Intelligence and science, driven by a deep curiosity about how things work. Fascinated by the intersection of technology and discovery, he aspires to build a career in AI and scientific innovation. In his spare time, Japneet enjoys playing tennis, mastering chess strategies, and diving into new coding projects.

Mannat Srivastav

Mannat moved to Australia in 2015 and quickly developed a love for the ocean and swimming. She is passionate about education and actively participates in school events, including the annual Swimming Carnival. A creative spirit, Mannat enjoys reading and writing stories, with hopes of one day publishing her own novel. In her spare time, she trains with the Cadets and continues to pursue her passion for swimming.

Michael Nash

Michael, a Father of 2 and Mathematics teacher. Late to the teaching profession Michael emigrated 7 years ago from the UK having worked as an accountant, entrepreneur and Teacher whilst serving in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Training Branch for 15 years. After a late ADHD and Autism diagnoses, He has become a passionate advocate for awareness of neurodiversity and understanding one's own brain.

He actively participates in school events, including inter-school swimming and mathematics competitions. Since March 2025, Reagan has also taken part in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Challenge, reflecting his passion for making a positive impact. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports with friends and exploring his creative side through music and drawing.

Whether it is conserving water or cultivating strong study habits, she is passionate about the ripple effects of everyday choices. In her free time, Sara enjoys chasing spontaneous ideas and finding creative ways to bring them to life. When Sata is not experimenting with new concepts or diving into YouTube rabbit holes, she is often engaged in outdoor adventures, reading, or curiously asking bold what if? questions that spark new perspectives and possibilities.

Seher Sood

Seher is a passionate and well-rounded student with a strong dedication to sports and the arts. She devotes much of her time to playing tennis and swimming, while also actively participating in hockey and softball through school. Outside of athletics, Seher has a deep appreciation for music—she enjoys playing the piano and exploring different genres in her free time. She is also an enthusiastic public speaker, consistently seeking out opportunities to develop and showcase her communication skills.

Currently, she serves as the Leader of the Government of Victorian Youth Parliament Legislative Council for 2024. Tanishka has earned multiple awards for her excellence in public speaking, using her platform to inspire others and encourage youth to speak up and express their opinions, shaping the future with their voices. Beyond her leadership and public speaking accomplishments, Tanishka is deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community. She has volunteered at old age homes and refugee centers, where she contributes her time and energy to supporting those who cannot support themselves. Through her various pursuits, she demonstrates a strong commitment to personal growth, community service, and leadership, continuing to work toward making a meaningful difference in the world.

Currently Associate Principal at Westbourne Grammar School, Teagan is an experienced educational leader, passionate about crafting quality student experience. She understands schools thrive when teachers and students are supported and know they matter. Teagan has experience leading school wide approaches to teaching and learning, wellbeing, and professional learning programs. Teagan actively embraces lifelong learning and holds a Bachelor of Physical Education (Secondary), Master of Education (Management and Leadership), Master of Business Administration (Executive), Professional Certificate in Positive Psychology and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is currently a PhD student at Deakin University.
